Dr Margaret Wilsher MD, FRACP, FRACMA is the Chief Medical Officer at Auckland District Health Board and a Respiratory Physician working both in public and private sectors. She is an active clinical teacher and researcher with Honorary Associate Professor status at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, University of Auckland, and previous roles as Council Member, Royal Australasian College of Physicians and President of the Auckland Medico Legal Society.

Her current roles include Member of the National Health Board and its Capital Investment Committee, member of the Hospital Redevelopment Partnership Group overseeing the Canterbury District Health Board major capital works, and Crown Monitor for Capital and Coast DHB.
